Villa Romanum is a small Mediterranean village where wellbeing is part of the package: made up of a very small number of units, with front-facing sea views, the residence’s homes are scattered across a large surface area that encompasses an infinity pool, a yoga route with a wellness and fitness area, and numerous private relaxation zones with reserved gazebos. The specific composition of the soil imbues the vegetation with beneficial properties; thanks to the private vegetable gardens, which come complete with irrigation, we allow you, under request, to make the most of those qualities. At Villa Romanum, the relationship is not just with your house, with the beautiful green spaces all around and with the sea opposite you, but also with yourself: the immense area on which the residence is built affords space for infinite places in which to regain your sense of self and achieve the highest quality of life. We have sited private relaxation areas with gazebos, chaises longues and reserved sun loungers throughout the residence, to be savoured once you have finished the yoga route or got your blood pumping on the e-bike circuit along the ancient Roman road that gives its name to the residence. The heated infinity pool is embellished by a natural waterfall to which are added local essences, to activate all five senses and reach new dimensions of living. Nearby you will also find the wellness and fitness area. Villa Romanum is a world unto itself, accessible via a private road, immersed in lush grounds and playing host to a very small number of units to safeguard your privacy; every home, which comes complete with its own private garden or terrace, is designed in the typical Ligurian style and adorned with cornices and decorations that betray an Arabian influence.

If you want to live off zero km foodstuffs, under request we give you – on a concessionary basis – a space in which to cultivate your own private vegetable garden with its own watering system. Moreover, there is an unerring focus on the environment: electric bikes and cars can take advantage of the photovoltaic-powered charging stations, and all of the energy consumed is generated using a zero-impact eco-friendly system.
One of the most evocative moments you experience as you reach the Ligurian coast from the E25 motorway is the sudden sight of the sea after miles of mountains – it is an intense, striking, reassuring vision. What appears before you is the sea off Arenzano, the first municipality you come to as you approach from the north. Alongside the enormous advantage of accessibility, this quaint Ligurian settlement built by the ancient Romans over the course of the first few centuries A.D. – at one time occupied by Saracen pirates, and a flourishing centre for shipbuilding until the late 19th century – is undoubtedly geared towards tourism, hosting first-class facilities and high-profile sporting and cultural events. The municipal area takes in part of the Parco del Beigua, a nature reserve that is perfect for excursions and hikes up to an altitude of 1000 metres above sea level.
